چکیده
Abstract Objective This study aimed to explore the pathological characteristics of lymph nodes around inferior mesenteric artery in rectal cancer and its risk factors impact on tumor staging. Methods 485 patients underwent proctectomy surgery were collected this study. Clinical features patients, including gender, age, BMI, size, type, differentiation, nerve invasion, nodes, marker, examinations, analyzed. Results A total cases included There 29 with IMA-LN metastasis; metastasis rate was 5.98% (29/485). Positive IMA-LNs associated distance from anal verge, CEA, T stage, N stage. Multivariate analysis showed that CEA level, stage independent for positive IMA-LNs. Conclusion Distance No skip occurred We should choose appropriate surgical methods achieve better oncological results reduce incidence postoperative complications.

Mesenteric lymph nodes infection with Linguatula serrata nymphs in cattle
871 mesenteric lymph nodes taken from 110 native cattle from Urmia slaughter-house with differentages were examined for Linguatula serrata infection. The lymph nodes were studied based on their colourand consistency. 44% of the cattle were found positive for L. serrata infection. The number of parasitesisolated from each infected lymph node varied from 1 to 69 with a mean of 5.48. There were no...
متن کاملOptimal timing of computed tomography for assessing lymph nodes after neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy for rectal cancer
Background: This study assessed the optimal timing of computed tomography for detection of metastatic disease in locoregional lymph nodes in patients with rectal cancer who have undergone chemoradiotherapy. Materials and Methods: This observational retrospective study was performed in a single institution. All patients with locally advanced rectal cancer treated with chemoradiotherapy, followed...
متن کاملRobotic Low Ligation of the Inferior Mesenteric Artery for Rectal Cancer Using the Firefly Technique
PURPOSE By integrating intraoperative near infrared fluorescence imaging into a robotic system, surgeons can identify the vascular anatomy in real-time with the technical advantages of robotics that is useful for meticulous lymphovascular dissection. Herein, we report our initial experience of robotic low ligation of the inferior mesenteric artery (IMA) with real-time identification of the vasc...
متن کاملCorrelation of 4-1BBL+ B Cells in Tumor Draining Lymph Nodes with Pathological Characteristics of Breast Cancer
Background: B cells can increase the expression of granzyme B in CD8+ T cells through 4-1BBL/4-1BB interaction and promote anti-tumor immunity. Objective: To investigate the expression of 4-1BBL on B cells in the breast tumor draining lymph nodes (TDLNs) and its association with disease parameters. Methods: Using Ficoll-Hypaque gradi...
